4. Contact Forms

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, subject, and message are stored in Supabase. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is never shared with third parties.

5. Blog Comments

When you leave a comment on a blog post, your name, email, and comment text are stored in Supabase. Your email is used to fetch your Gravatar avatar and is never publicly displayed.

6. Identity Stitching

When you submit a contact form, your anonymous visitor ID (stored in localStorage) may be linked to the email address you provide. This linking is performed for analytics purposes only — to understand how visitors who reach out have interacted with the site. It is never used for marketing or sold to anyone.

7. No Data Selling

Your personal data is never sold to third parties. Data collected through this site is used exclusively for site operation, communication, and anonymous analytics.

8. Cookie Banner & Consent

A cookie banner is displayed on your first visit, allowing you to accept or decline analytics cookies. All analytics tracking is disabled by default and only activates after you grant consent. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site.

9. Data Retention

• Analytics data is retained for 1 year and then automatically purged.
• Contact form submissions are retained indefinitely for ongoing communication purposes.
